RaraDazzle was inspired by my beloved late daughter, Rara Zikry or Zarith Nadhira. She left us on December 1, 2011 at the age of 23 at 9:35 pm at Sunway Medical Centre due to phnemonia. Her passing was truly peaceful and she had a tear in her eyes as she left. Thank you for journeying with me this far. I pray you find the same peace I have. May ALLAH swt grant her eternal peace and may her soul be placed amongst the pious and chosen believers. Indeed, ALLAH SWT loves her more than us and I am sure I will meet her again in Jannah. Ameen.
RaraDazzle chronicles my culinary obsessions from baking to decoration. I wish I could say I’ve always cooked but that’s not necessarily true. I did grow up in the family where my mother is and still a fantastic cook but all I did was eat! However, at a later stage in my life I found my calling and started documenting my cooking adventures in this blog. I have amassed a library of cookbooks and though I have not extracted a recipe from every one of them, each has provided some inspiration in one form or another.
Through all my cooking triumphs and misadventures there is always one person with me every step of the way: "Hungry" Hubby, my lovable spouse, food disposer extraordinaire, photographer and now part time dishwasher and muscleman around the kitchen, he is as much a part of this blog as I am, my beloved husband Zikry. My appreciation and Thank you to my beloved nieces, Mediha, Maryna, Munira, Medina and my sisters especially Zaleha, Zaharah, Zainab, Zaini and brothers, Azman, Azhar and of course Bibik Tini whom have always been on our side during our trying times.
I am sure my late daughter, Rara Zikry will be very pleased and happy as her legacy continues..... even though life is not the same without her, may ALLAH give us strength to continue with this life.
Because every story has an end, but in life every end is just a new beginning. Life is too short. So remain grateful to ALLAH swt, love your beloved ones, live positively and stay happy. Al-Fatihah Zarith Nadhira.........
